The Leather Element: Making a Leather Toggle

Leather toggles are a great alternative to traditional hardware closures. Watch the video as Chuck demonstrates how you can make your own! The preferred leather weight for making toggles is a 2/3 or 3/4 oz. The only other materials you will need are a knife, straight edge, and some glue.

  1. Now that is a great way for the budget minded person. I like this for quiet too. I just wonder how long they last compared to some of the other closures.

  2. You might enhance the understanding of this toggle if you showed an example of how it worked on a project.
    Always like these money-saving ideas.
    Thanks
