I find by sticking my chisel in ‘beeswax’ , it slides back out near effortlessly. Sure speeds up the ‘punching process’
I am a scroller. Made mirrored standing stallions using water buffalo leather . Makes a silhouette in one cut. Just sandwich leather between plywood and glue to bottom piece. A little leather conditioner and a raised silhouette.
